As a community of people and as one new man, we have the responsibility to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is one of the greatest honors we can do as a Judeo- Christian community. As one new man, this is one of our most honorable duties and privileges, to pray for the welfare of Israel. According to Psalms 122 it states, “They (you) will prosper that love you (Israel) and that peace would be within our walls.” This means just as Adonai has been faithful to His covenant concerning Israel; He will not look over us as we are being faithful in praying for the commonwealth of Israel. We should know and remember this is the act of Adonai’s love.
